The v2026.0 version is currently available for testing in the sandbox environment only. It is not yet available in production.

• Description:

  First subject of the ITT course.

  Notes: Where the course maximum age is 11 or less as stated in Course Age Range, Course Subject One must be “Primary Teaching” (HESA code 100511). A validation error will be returned if a different subject is provided. Where trainees study a primary specialism, a valid HECoS code should be used in course_subject_2 or course_subject_3.
